The newly released trailer for the NCIS Season 22 finale puts fan concerns to rest – Sean Murray’s character, Special Agent Tim McGee, is not leaving the show.
Season 22 began airing on October 14, 2024, on CBS and Paramount+. Now nearing its finale, the trailer for Episode 20, titled “Nexus,” confirms McGee’s fate following a dramatic turn in Episode 19, “Irreconcilable Differences.”
In that episode, McGee suspects Deputy Director Gabriel Laroche of foul play and even witnesses him commit murd3r. Lacking evidence, McGee faces accusations of trying to sabotage his superior. Eventually, Laroche is arrested, but not before McGee is shot in the shoulder – leaving fans fearing the worst.
Fortunately, the finale promo reveals that McGee survives and will continue to play a key role moving forward, especially as Laroche hints at a larger conspiracy.
